The Island was a college project based around Single Player level design and a basic test of Puzzle Design. My challenge was to create a very short prototype that also taught players how to interact with a puzzle element appropriate for 10 minutes of gameplay.

Without spoiling anything, the gameplay forced the player to keep track of no more than two puzzle 'designs' at a time while manuvering through the level. The level design allowed players to move indoors and outdoors through a series of environments, enjoying various viewscapes.
